Traffic Modifications for the Jingle Bell Run

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary lane closures that will be in effect for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk which will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 beginning at 9:00 a.m.   The event will start and finish at the Du Burns Arena in Canton.

Participants will begin the run/walk on Boston Street at East Avenue, then proceed west on Boston Street, right on Linwood Avenue to cross over Eastern Avenue and enter Patterson Park.  The course will continue through Patterson Park to exit at Eastern Avenue, then south on Linwood Avenue, left on Boston Street, and left on East Avenue to the finish line in the Du Burns Arena parking lot.

In preparation for the event, single lane closures will be in effect along the course route wherever possible.  Citizens should be advised that temporary traffic stops may be implemented during the run for the safety of participants

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
