Weekend Road Closures for April 28, 2017

Charles Street Temporary Closure

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Charles Street will close on Saturday for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 29, 2017, Charles Street will be closed to through traffic between Lafayette Street and North Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

In addition, various lane closures will also be implemented along Charles Street between Preston Street and Mount Royal Avenue during this time.

Motorists traveling in these areas should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Falls Road Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of Falls Road will be closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 29, 2017, Falls Road will be closed to through traffic between Chestnut Avenue and Wyman Park Drive from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Redwood Street Temporary Closures

On Saturday, two portions of Redwood Street will be closed for crane lift operations.  On Saturday, April 29, 2017, Redwood Street will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect:

  • E. Redwood Street between Calvert and Light Streets from 3:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (with lane closures along Calvert and Baltimore Streets in this vicinity)
  • W. Redwood Street between Paca and Eutaw Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Cathedral Street Lane Closures

On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Cathedral Street for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 29, 2017, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Cathedral Street between Chase and Eager Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Holliday Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of Holliday Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 29, 2017, northbound Holliday Street will be closed to through traffic between Baltimore and Fayette Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  One lane of Holliday Street will remain open to through traffic with a flagging operation in effect during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Temporary Closure of Cold Spring Lane Ramp from Southbound Jones Falls Expressway

On Sunday, the Cold Spring Lane exit ramp from the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will be closed for a crane lift operation.  On Sunday, April 30, 2017, the Cold Spring Lane exit ramp from the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will be closed from 3:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Mount Royal Avenue Lane Closures

On Sunday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Mount Royal Avenue for a crane lift operation.  On Sunday, April 30, 2017, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Mount Royal Avenue between Charles and St. Paul Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
