Weekend Road Closures for June 16, 2017

Jones Falls Expressway Overnight Lane Closures

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary lane closures that will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway for water main repair work. 

Starting at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2017, temporary lane closures will be implemented along both the northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway near the Maryland Avenue overpass.  The lanes closures are expected to remain in effect until 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017.

During this time, the Maryland Avenue exit ramp from the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will be closed, and motorists trying to access Maryland Avenue will be detoured onto Mount Royal Avenue.  In addition, motorists will not be able to enter the northbound JFX from Charles Street and will be detoured onto North Avenue.

Motorists traveling in these areas should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Cathedral Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of Cathedral Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, June 17, 2017, Cathedral Street will be closed to through traffic between Monument and Centre Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Calvert Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of Calvert Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, June 17, 2017, Calvert Street will be closed to through traffic between Lexington and Saratoga Streets from 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

St. Paul  Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of St. Paul Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, June 17, 2017, St. Paul Street will be closed to through traffic between 33rd and 32nd Streets from 4:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
