Automated Traffic Violation Enforcement System (ATVES)

ATVES

The primary goal of the ATVES program is to provide consistent enforcement of traffic regulations, modify driver behavior, reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities and improve pedestrian, bicyclist and vehicular safety in the City. These goals shall be accomplished through photo enforcement technology and a violation and citation processing system that is capable of capturing reliable data, digital images and video related to a variety of traffic violations.
