Traffic Modifications for the Mercy 5K

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications that will be in effect for the Mercy 5K.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 starting at 8:00 a.m.

The race will start and finish on the grounds of Mercy High School.  Participants will exit school grounds and turn right onto E. Northern Parkway, right on The Alameda, right onto Litchfield Road and right on Loch Raven Boulevard.  The course proceeds right back onto E. Northern Parkway and right to finish at Mercy High School.

In preparation for this event, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible.  Commuters should be advised that temporary traffic stops will occur along the race route for the safety of participants.  

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should allow additional travel time in anticipation of this event and should be on the watch for pedestrians.  The use of alternate routes is strongly encouraged to avoid delays.
