Traffic Modifications for the Grand Reopening of the Shake & Bake Family Fun Center

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closures in effect for the grand reopening festivities and parade for the Shake & Bake Family Fun Center on Friday, March 23, 2018.

The parade will kick off at 5:00 p.m. from Laurens Street between Fremont and Pennsylvania Avenues.  The procession will head east on Laurens Street, south on Pennsylvania Avenue and east on McMechen Street to finish.

In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed to through traffic on Friday, March 23, 2018 with detours in effect:

*Laurens Street from Fremont to Pennsylvania Avenues – 3:00 pm to clear

*Pitcher Street from Argyle to Pennsylvania Avenues – 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm *Pennsylvania Avenue from Robert to Mosher Streets – 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm

*Laurens Street from Division Street to Pennsylvania Avenue – 4:00 pm to clear

*Wilson Street from Division Street to Pennsylvania Avenue – 4:00 pm to clear

*McMechen Street from Division Street to Pennsylvania Avenue – 4:00 pm to clear

*Brunt Street from Laurens to McMechen Streets – 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm

All streets are expected to be reopened by 9:30 pm.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
