Weekend Road Closures for April 21, 2017

Jones Falls Expressway Temporary Lane Closures

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway for graffiti removal.  On Saturday, April 22, 2017, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  In addition, lane closures will also be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between North Avenue and Pleasant Street during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Charles Street Temporary Closures

On Saturday, two portions of N. Charles Street will be closed for crane lift operations.  On Saturday, April 22, 2017, the following areas along N. Charles Street will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect:

  • Between Lafayette Street and North Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  
  • Between Mulberry and Saratoga Streets from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Cathedral Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of Cathedral Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 22, 2017, Cathedral Street will be closed to through traffic between Franklin and Mulberry Streets starting at 2:00 p.m.  This portion of Cathedral Street will remain closed until approximately 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2017.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Holliday Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of Holliday Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 22, 2017, northbound Holliday Street will be closed to through traffic between Baltimore and Fayette Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
