Convoys to/from Carroll Park in Southwest Baltimore

Baltimore County

​Catonsville, MD to Carroll Park

Morning:

Who:  Ray Bahr, convoy leader, raymond.bahr@maryland.gov, 410-537-3545. No need to RSVP; just show up.
Where:  MDE and friends meet in Catonsville at the rally at Santa's House at the Catonsville Fire House, 756 Frederick Road (at Egges Lane)
When:  Depart from the Firehouse at 7:30 am, with an estimated arrival time of 8:30 am at Montgomery Park/Carroll Park 
How:  The ride is 5.8 miles. The route will be Frederick Road to Gwynns Falls trail south to Carroll Park.

(No evening ride)

City Hall & UMD Medical Center to Carroll Park

When & Where:  7:45 am, Depart City Hall,100 Holliday Street, Baltimore, MD 21202

When & Where Next:  8:00 am, Depart U. of Maryland Medical Center pit stop, corner of Lombard St & Greene St.

Final Destination:  8:20 am, Arrive at Montgomery Park/Carroll Park

How:  The ride is 2 miles. The route will be west and south from downtown Baltimore to Pigtown and Carroll Park.

How:  Ride 2 miles northeast via Pigtown and the stadiums to Pratt Street, and continue another 1.5 miles to the Handlebar Cafe at 511 S. Caroline St. in Fells Point for the Bike to Work Day happy hour
