The Harford Road Bridge will open to traffic on October 1, 2022. Similar to the traffic pattern on Harford Road between Erdman Avenue and Chesterfield Avenue, there will be one travel lane per direction on the bridge, and on the approaches to the bridge.
Northbound Walther Avenue will remain closed to vehicular traffic but open to people walking and biking. Traffic destined for northbound Walther Avenue is advised to continue using Parkside Drive.
- Southbound Walther Avenue between Harford Road and Parkside Drive will open to one lane of vehicular traffic and a separate bike lane in the southbound direction.
Lake Montebello Drive will remain closed to traffic, with no vehicular access to or from Harford Road.
Upcoming details on a public ceremony, that will be held later, in the Fall will be posted at a later time.
There are no further public meetings scheduled at this time.
