Portion of Boston Street to Close for Railroad Crossing Repairs

Traffic detours will be implemented and commuters are urged to use alternate routes

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Boston Street will be closed for railroad crossing repairs.

Starting at 12:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 06, 2016, Boston Street will be closed to through traffic between Newkirk and Haven Streets with detours in effect.  This portion of Boston Street is expected to reopen to traffic by 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016.

During this time, motorists are encouraged to use O’Donnell Street as an alternate route to bypass the Boston Street closure.  Motorists trying to access I-95 can also utilize Clinton Street to the I-95 ramps along Keith Avenue.

Commuters traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
