Weekend Road Closures for April 14, 2017

Baltimore Street Temporary Closure

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Baltimore Street will be temporarily closed this Saturday for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 15, 2017, Baltimore Street will be closed to through traffic between Liberty and Charles Streets from approximately 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with detours in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Eutaw Street Temporary Lane Closures

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Eutaw Street for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 15, 2017 temporary lane closures will be implemented along Eutaw Street between Lexington and Clay Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day.  One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists along Eutaw Street during this time.  Flagging operations may also be implemented in this area to direct motorists through the work zone.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should expect delays and be on the watch for changing traffic patterns.

 

Cathedral Street Temporary Closure

This Saturday, a portion of Cathedral Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 15, 2017, Cathedral Street will be closed to through traffic at the intersection of Madison Street from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

St. Paul Street Temporary Closure

This Saturday, a portion of St. Paul Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 15, 2017, St. Paul Street will be closed to through traffic between Madison and Monument Streets from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with detours in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Wolfe Street Temporary Closure

This Saturday, a portion of Wolfe Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, April 15 2017, Wolfe Street will be closed to through traffic between Madison and Monument Streets from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Temporary Closures for the March for the Animals

This Saturday, the Maryland SPCA will hold its 22nd annual March for the Animals.  The event begins along Ravens Walk and marchers will head north towards M&T Bank Stadium,  across W. Hamburg Street and along Russell Street  around to Raven’s Walk.  They will then cross back over W. Hamburg Street, continuing on Raven’s walk and head south towards Oriole Park.  For the extended/optional walk, they will cross W. Lee Street and continue along Eutaw Street.  Keeping right they will hug the stadium close to W. Camden Street making their way around the stadium and back down towards W. Lee Street.  They will again cross W. Lee street and continue along Raven’s Walk and end at the festival that will be held in the northern part of Lot B.

In preparation for the event, the following roadways will be closed to through traffic on Saturday, April 15, 2017 from approximately 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.:

  • W. Hamburg Street at Leadenhall Street
  • W. Hamburg Street at Russell Street
  • Lee Street at Russell Street

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
