Ramp From Northbound I-395 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard to Temporarily Close This Weekend

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary closure of the ramp from northbound I-395 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard this weekend for maintenance work.

Starting at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2017 the ramp from northbound I-395 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting.  This closure is expected to remain in effect until approximately 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2017.  Detours will be in effect during this time and variable message signs have been placed in the area to alert motorists of the closure.

During the closure, motorists trying to access Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard from northbound I-395 will be detoured onto W. Lombard Street to Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays. 

LatinoFest

This weekend, a portion of Linwood Avenue will be closed for the annual LatinoFest.  The festival will be held in Patterson Park on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, 2017. 

In preparation for the event, Linwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Eastern Avenue and Pratt Street on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. each day.  Parking will also be restricted in this area during these times. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Chase Street Temporary Closure

On Saturday, a portion of W. Chase Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation.  On Saturday, June 24, 2017, W. Chase Street will be closed to through traffic between Maryland Avenue and Charles Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane Closures Along I-295

On Sunday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along I-295 for roadway maintenance work.  On Sunday, June 25, 2017, single left lane closures will be implemented along northbound and southbound I-295 between Bush Street and the county line  from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
