Traffic Modifications for the Hamilton Street Festival
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications that will be in effect for the Hamilton Street Festival. The event will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
In preparation for the event, the following streets will be closed on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with detours in effect:
- Harford Road between White and Echodale Avenues
- Hamilton Avenue between Hampnett and Richard Avenues
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Ramp Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway
On Saturday, temporary ramp closures will be implemented along a portion of the southbound Jones Falls Expressway for tree trimming activities. On Saturday, July 28, 2018, intermittent ramp closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between 28th Street and North Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The ramp closures will occur intermittently during these hours and will include both exit and entrance ramps to the expressway.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
