Traffic Modifications for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closures in effect for the Greater Baltimore Walk to End Alzheimer’s which will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 starting at 9:00 a.m.
The walk will begin at the Canton Waterfront Park along the waterfront promenade. Participants will head west along the waterfront and pass the Boathouse Canton Restaurant, Bo Brooks, and the Anchorage Marina towards Fells Point. Walkers will head north to S. Ann Street and will pass the Thames Street Oyster House. Walkers will then head east to Aliceanna Street, then to Boston Street to finish at the Canton Waterfront Park.In preparation for the event, one lane of traffic will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible.
During the event, temporary traffic stops may be implemented for the safety of participants. Motorists traveling in this vicinity may encounter delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Calvert Street Temporary Closure During Crane Operation
On Saturday, a portion of Calvert Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Calvert Street will be closed to through traffic between Lombard and Baltimore Streets from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Baltimore Street Closure for Utility Work
This weekend, a portion of Baltimore Street will temporarily close for utility work. On Saturday, November 10 and Sunday, November 11, 2018, Baltimore Street will be closed to through traffic between Light and Calvert Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day, with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Guilford Avenue Crane Operation
On Saturday, a portion of Guilford Avenue will temporarily close for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Guilford Avenue will be closed to through traffic between 33rd Street and University Parkway from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Water Street Crane Operation
On Saturday, a portion of Water Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, Water Street will be closed to through traffic between South and Calvert Streets from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Eastern Avenue Crane Operation
On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be in effect along a portion of Eastern Avenue for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, lane closures will be will be implemented along Eastern Avenue between Broadway and Regester Street from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During this time, a traffic flagging operation will be implemented to alternate motorists through the work zone.

On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be in effect along a portion of Fayette Street for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, November 10, 2018, lane closures will be will be implemented along Fayette Street between Greene and Pine Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
