Traffic Modifications for the Canton Lamp Post Lighting Ceremony
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications in effect for the Canton Lamp Post Lighting Ceremony. The event will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 beginning at 5:00 p.m.
In preparation for the event, the following roadways will be closed to through traffic on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- O’Donnell Street will be closed to through traffic between Linwood Avenue and Potomac Street (in both directions)
- S. Curley Street at O’Donnell Street
Citizens should pay close attention to posted parking restrictions in this vicinity, as vehicles parked in violation may be ticketed and towed. Motorists should be on the watch for pedestrians attending the ceremony and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Wolfe Street Lane Closures
This weekend, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of N. Wolfe Street for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, December 15 and Sunday, December 16, 2018, temporary lane closures will be implemented along N. Wolfe Street between Madison and Monument Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weather permitting. One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during these times.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
20th Street Crane Lift
This Saturday, a portion of W. 20th Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, December 15, 2018, W. 20th Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles and Morton Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
