The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of President Street for roadway paving work.

Starting this evening, Thursday, August 15 and continuing through Tuesday, August 20, 2019, nightly lane closures will be implemented along President Street between Fayette and Fleet Streets from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each night, weather permitting.  At least one lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during these times. 

In addition, lane closures will be implemented this evening along Fleet Street between President Street and Central Avenue for paving work.  Westbound Fleet Street traffic will be detoured onto Central Avenue during this time as paving work is completed.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity may encounter delays and should allow additional travel time.  Citizens should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns when approaching the work zone and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
