Howard Street Closure on Monday, October 28, 2019 for Sewer Repairs

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that all of Howard Street between Lombard and Baltimore Street will close for sewer repair work.

Beginning Monday, October 28, 2019, a full street closure will be implemented along Howard Street between Lombard and Baltimore Street. This street closure will remain in effect until on or about Monday, November 11, 2019, as DPW will be doing sewer repair work in the roadway. The work conducted will be a 24-hour operation. There will be no disruption to sewer services. Light RailLInk service will continue to operate on a normal schedule

Motorists traveling in this vicinity may encounter delays and should allow additional travel time.  Motorist trying to access the Howard Street Garage will be able to access the parking garage — access will be allowed from Lombard Street. Traffic coming from northbound I-395 cannot use Howard Street, but can utilize Pratt and Lombard Street. In addition, motorist and pedestrians should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns when approaching the work zone and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
