Lane closures will also occur along westbound Key Highway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of southbound Light Street will close overnight for paving work.

Starting this evening, Monday, November 25, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. and continuing until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2019 southbound Light Street will be closed to through traffic between Lee and Montgomery Streets with detours and parking restrictions in effect.  This overnight closure of southbound Light Street will be implemented again at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 through 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2019 weather permitting.

In addition, two lanes of westbound Key Highway will also be closed during these times as work is completed at the Light Street intersection.  One lane of westbound traffic will remain open along Key Highway during construction.  Paving work will also affect Hughes Street, which will also be closed at Light Street during the overnight hours.
