The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of E. Fayette Street will temporarily close this weekend for roadway art painting.  This portion of E. Beginning at 6:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31, 2020 E. Fayette Street will be closed to through traffic between Gay and Holliday Streets with detours and parking restrictions in effect.  This portion of E. Fayette Street will remain closed to through traffic until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

Detour signs will be posted in the area to alert motorists of the closure.  During the closure, westbound Fayette Street traffic will be detoured right on Gay Street, left onto Saratoga Street, left on Guilford Avenue and right back onto westbound Fayette Street.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
