Pedestrian Bridge Between Piers 4 and 5 to Temporarily Close November 3-4th

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise residents and visitors to the Inner Harbor that the Pedestrian Bridge located between Piers 4 and 5 south of Pratt Street will be temporarily closed for the return of the USS Taney.

Starting at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, the pedestrian bridge between Piers 4 and 5 which is located south of Pratt Street along the Inner Harbor will be closed, weather permitting.  During this closure, the pedestrian bridge will be removed so that the USS Taney can be moved safely back to its berth.  Once the ship has returned, the pedestrian bridge will then be reinstalled.  This work is expected to be complete late in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 and the pedestrian bridge will reopened at that time.

During the closure, detour signs will be posted in the area redirecting pedestrians to utilize Pratt Street in order to cross between the piers.
