Weekend Road Closures for November 6-8, 2020

Lane Closures Along I-395 and Conway Street
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of I-395 and Conway Street for street lighting work.
On Saturday, November 7, 2020, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along the following roadways from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.:
- Westbound Conway Street between Sharp Street and I-395/Howard Street
- Southbound I-395/Howard Street between Conway Street and W. Camden Street
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
New Traffic Pattern and Road Closures in Fell’s Point
The BCDOT would like to advise motorists that road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented in Fell’s Point to promote outdoor dining activities.
Starting on or about Saturday, November 7, 2020, Thames Street will become one-way westbound between Caroline and Ann Streets. One lane of westbound traffic will be open for motorists along this portion of Thames Street, and no eastbound traffic will be allowed. Once this new traffic pattern is implemented, all southbound S. Broadway and S. Caroline Street traffic will be required to turn right (west) onto Thames Street.
In addition, the following nightly road closures will be implemented along Thames and Lancaster Streets to facilitate outdoor dining activities:
- Starting on or about Saturday, November 7, 2020, Thames Street will close nightly between Ann Street and S. Broadway from 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. each evening.
- Starting on or about Monday, November 9, 2020, Lancaster Street will close nightly from the parking garage entrance/exit just south of the Aliceanna Street circle to Exeter Street from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each evening.
Additional road closures may be implemented in the Fell’s Point area if needed for safety reasons. Visitors should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas. Residential Permit Parking (RPP) regulations will be strictly enforced in Fell’s Point (RPP Area 16) and vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed.
Light Street Lane Closures
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Light Street for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, November 7, 2020, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along St. Paul/Light Street between Redwood and Lombard Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with parking restrictions in effect. At least one lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists during this time.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Weekend Road Closures in Canton
This weekend, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented in Canton to allow for outdoor dining.
Starting on Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 8, 2020, the following roadways will be closed in Canton from 12:00 noon to 10:00 p.m. each day with detours and parking restrictions in effect:
- O’Donnell Street (both the east and west sides) between Linwood and Potomac Streets
- Curley Street from O’Donnell Street east and west to the alleyways
Curb lane closures will also be implemented along the following roadways during these times:
- S. Linwood Street between O’Donnell and Elliot Streets
- S. Linwood Street between O’Donnell and Dillon Streets
- S. Potomac Street between O’Donnell and Dillon Streets
Canton visitors and residents should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Cross Street Closure in Federal Hill
The BCDOT would like to remind motorists that a portion of Cross Street has been closed in Federal Hill to allow for outdoor dining.
At this time, the north side of S. Cross Street is closed to through traffic between Light and Charles Streets with detours and parking restrictions in effect.
Motorists traveling in historic Federal Hill should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Portion of Loch Raven Drive at Loch Raven Reservoir Remains Closed to Traffic
The BCDOT would like to remind motorists that a portion of Loch Raven Drive in Baltimore County is now closed to through traffic due to a failed culvert.
At this time, Loch Raven Drive is closed between Morgan Mill Road and Providence Road at Loch Raven Reservoir. The timeframe for reopening the roadway has not yet been determined.
Closure and detour signs have been posted in the area. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
