Portion of Fayette Street and Charles Street to Temporarily Close for Crane Lift Operation

BALTIMORE, MD (December 25, 2020) – The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Fayette Street and a portion of Charles Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.

Starting at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, Saturday, December 26, 2020, Fayette Street will be closed to through traffic starting at the N. Charles Street intersection. Additionally, N. Charles Street will be closed to through traffic with detours in effect.  This portion of Fayette Street and this portion of Charles Street will remain closed until approximately 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 25, 2020.

Detour signs will be posted in the downtown area and motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns.  Commuters can expect delays and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes.
