Lane Closures Along the Southbound Jones Falls Expressway

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway this Saturday for cleaning activities. 

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Cold Spring Lane and North Avenue from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.  The following ramps will also be closed during this time:

• Entrance ramp from westbound Cold Spring Lane to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway  
• Entrance ramp from Falls Road to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane Closures Along MD-295

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 for maintenance activities and pot hole repair work. 

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along MD-295 between Bush Street and the county line from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Monument Street Closure for Crane Operation

This Saturday, a portion of Monument Street will be closed for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, Monument Street will be closed to through traffic between Fallsway and Forrest Street from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours in effect, weather permitting.

Eastern Avenue Traffic Flagging Operation

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Eastern Avenue for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Eastern Avenue between Conkling Street and Highland Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A traffic flagging operation will be implemented to alternate traffic through the work zone.

Paca Street Lane Closures for Crane Operation

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Paca Street for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, March 13, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Paca Street between Fayette and Lexington Streets starting at 4:00 a.m.  These lane closures will remain in effect until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 14, 2021.
