Portion of Hollins Ferry Road to Temporarily Close Starting Monday, April 26th for Work on Railroad Crossing

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Hollins Ferry Road will temporarily close for work on area railroad crossings.
Starting at approximately 7:00 a.m. on or about Monday, April 26, 2021, Hollins Ferry Road will be closed to through traffic between Severn Street and S. Paca Street with detours in effect, weather permitting. This portion of Hollins Ferry Road will remain closed to traffic for approximately one week. Local access will be maintained during this time for area businesses and residents.
Signs have been placed in the area to alert motorists of the closure. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Suggested detour routes:
- From westbound Waterview Avenue at Hollins Ferry Road – traffic will be detoured left onto Hollins Ferry Road, right on W. Patapsco Avenue, right onto Washington Boulevard and right back to Hollins Ferry Road.
- From northbound Hollins Ferry Road at W. Patapsco Avenue – traffic will be detoured left onto W. Patapsco Avenue, right onto Washington Boulevard and right onto Hollins Ferry Road.
- From westbound W. Patapsco Avenue at Hollins Ferry Road – traffic will be detoured west along W. Patapsco Avenue, right onto Washington Boulevard and right onto Hollins Ferry Road.
- From southbound Washington Boulevard at Hollins Ferry Road – Traffic will be detoured south on Washington Boulevard, left on W. Patapsco Avenue, and left onto to Hollins Ferry Road.
