Additional Traffic Expected in Fells Point August 22-30th for the BMW Championship

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that additional traffic is expected next week in Fells Point for the 2021 BMW Championship.

Starting on Sunday, August 22 and continuing through Monday, August 30, 2021, additional vehicular and pedestrian traffic is expected in the vicinity of Fells Point.  In addition to localized traffic impacts, various parking restrictions will also be implemented in Fells Point for this event, particularly along Thames Street. 

Fells Point visitors and residents should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas, as vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed.  Residential Permit Parking will also be strictly enforced throughout the week in Fells Point (RPP Area 16) along the following roadways:

• Aliceanna Street     • Broadway

• Fleet Street              • Shakespeare Street

• Ann Street               • Thames Street

• Lancaster Street     • Dallas Street

• Bethel Street           • Wolfe Street

• Register Street        • Durham Street

• Bond Street             • Fell Street

Motorists should be aware that road closures and parking restrictions may be implemented in the vicinity of Fells Point throughout this event if needed.  Motorists traveling in this area should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
