Weekend Road Closures for November 5-7, 2021

Weekend Road Closures and Parking Restrictions in Fell’s Point

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented this weekend in Fell’s Point.

Starting on Friday, November 5, 2021 and continuing each evening through Sunday, November 7, 2021, all through traffic will be restricted in Fell’s Point from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. within the following geographical boundaries:

  • South of Aliceanna Street
  • North of Thames Street
  • East of S. Bond Street
  • West of S. Ann Street

Various parking restrictions will also be implemented in Fell’s Point throughout the weekend.  Visitors and residents should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas.  Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety.  Residents with ‘Area 16’ Residential Parking Permits will be allowed to access areas closed to through traffic.

Motorists should be aware that additional road closures and parking restrictions may be implemented in the vicinity of Fell’s Point throughout the weekend if needed. 

 

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway for streetlighting work and cleaning activities.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along the northbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along Mulberry Street for a Crane Lift Operation

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Mulberry Street for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Mulberry Street between Charles and St. Paul Streets from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  One lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists through the work zone during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Portion of W. 21st Street to Close for Crane Lift

This Saturday, a portion of W. 21st Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, November 6, 2021, W. 21st Street will be closed to through traffic between Howard Street and Maryland Avenue from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with detours and parking restrictions in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar

This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.

On Sunday, November 7, 2021 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect:

  • Hillen Street from Fallsway to Holliday Street
  • Holliday Street from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
  • Holliday Street at Pleasant Street off ramp left lane closure

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Traffic Modifications for the Red Hot Run 5K

This Sunday, November 7, 2021 temporary lane closures and parking restrictions will be implemented for the 10th annual Red Hot Run 5K and Family Fun Walk which will be held in Roland Park.

The event kicks off from Roland Park Country School at 8:30 a.m.  Participants will proceed north on Roland Avenue, left on the seminary driveway, right on Northern Parkway, right on Roland Avenue, right on seminary driveway and then right on Roland Avenue.  The course proceeds right on Kenwood Road, right on Goodwood Gardens, left on Club Road, right on Deepdene Road, left on Roland Avenue and left into north driveway of the Roland Park Country School to finish. 

In preparation for the event, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible with parking restrictions in effect.  Commuters should be aware that temporary traffic stops may be implemented during the event for the safety of participants.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Traffic Modifications for Sunday’s Ravens Game at M&T Bank Stadium

On Sunday, traffic modifications will be implemented for the Baltimore Ravens football game against the Minnesota Vikings which will be held at M&T Bank Stadium beginning at 1:00 p.m. 

In preparation for the game, the following roadways will be closed to through traffic at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 7, 2021:

  • Northbound Russell Street Service Drive (which runs alongside M&T Bank Stadium) between West and W. Hamburg Streets
  • W. Ostend Street Bridge between Warner and Sharp Streets
  • W. Hamburg Street between Russell and Leadenhall Streets
  • Hamburg Street west of Russell Street

In addition, various parking restrictions will be implemented in the vicinity of the stadium.  Fans attending the game should be advised that all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety.  Patrons choosing to drive to the stadium should park at commercial lots and avoid area neighborhoods.  Vehicles parked in violation are subject to being ticketed and towed.  Fans that do not have a parking permit for any of the stadium lots are strongly encouraged to use public transportation including the Metro SubwayLink, Light RailLink or the Charm City Circulator.  

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for heavy pedestrian/vehicular traffic and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
