Weekend Road Closures for April 1-3, 2022

Weekend Lane Closures at Intersection of Druid Park Lake Drive and McCulloh Street

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented this weekend at the intersection of Druid Park Lake Drive and McCulloh Street for crosswalk art work.

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, the 2 right lanes of Druid Park Lake Drive will be closed, along with the 2 right lanes of McCulloh Street at this intersection from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

Then on Sunday, April 3, 2022, the 2 left lanes of Druid Park Lake Drive will be closed, along with 1 left lane of McCulloh Street at this intersection from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Temporary Lane Closures Along Eastbound Northern Parkway and Closure of Ramp to the Southbound Jones Falls Expressway

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of eastbound Northern Parkway for streetlight repair work.

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along eastbound Northern Parkway between Cylburn Avenue and Falls Road from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.  In addition, the ramp from eastbound Northern Parkway to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will also temporarily close during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Temporary Closure of 29th Street Ramp to the Jones Falls Expressway

This Saturday, the 29th Street ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will be temporarily closed for streetlighting repair work.

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, the 29th Street ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will be temporarily closed from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Patapsco Street Temporary Closure

This Saturday, a portion of Patapsco Street will temporarily close for a crane operation. 

On Saturday, April 2, 2022, Patapsco Street will be closed to through traffic between E. Ostend Street and E. Ropewalk Lane from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting, with detours and parking restrictions in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Traffic Modifications for the Red Shoe Shuffle 5K

This Sunday, traffic modifications will be implemented for the Red Shoe Shuffle 5K Run & Walk. 

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2022 and participants will follow a new course route that kicks off from the Ronald McDonald House on Aisquith Street.  Participants will proceed south on Fayette Street, right on Central Avenue, right on Eastern Avenue, and left onto the Inner Harbor promenade between Piers 5 and 6.  The course continues along promenade, past West Shore Park, to exit right onto Light Street.  Participants will bear right onto Pratt Street, left on Central Avenue, left on Baltimore Street, and right on Aisquith Street to finish between Baltimore and Fayette Streets.

During the event, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route.  Temporary traffic stops may be implemented for the safety of participants

In addition, the following parking restrictions will be implemented from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.:

  • Asquith Street (both sides) between E. Fayette and E. Baltimore Streets
  • E. Baltimore Street (both sides) between Asquith Street and Central Avenue

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

This Sunday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway for cleaning activities.

On Sunday, April 3, 2022, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along both the northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar

This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.

On Sunday, April 3, 2022 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect:

  • Hillen Street from Fallsway to Holliday Street
  • Holliday Street from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
  • Holliday Street at Pleasant Street off ramp left lane closure

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
