Portion of S. Charles Street Now Closed Between W. Conway and Pratt Streets

Motorists are urged to avoid this area to minimize delays

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of S. Charles Street is currently closed to through traffic.

At this time, S. Charles Street is closed to through traffic between W. Conway and Pratt Streets with detours in effect.  This portion of S. Charles Street will remain closed until further notice and motorists are urged to avoid this area by using alternate routes to minimize delays.  Local traffic trying to access the hotel can still enter the Hyatt roundabout just north of Charles Street then exit at the median back to Conway Street.

Motorists traveling downtown in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are urged to use alternate routes.
