Weekend Road Closures for Saturday, March 4th through Sunday, March 5th, 2023

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary traffic modifications and road closures for the following events this weekend. 

Lane Closures for Right of Way Cleaning

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary lane closures in effect for right of way cleaning.  

On Saturday, March 4th, 2023 the following lanes will be closed for right of way cleaning:

  • Eastbound and westbound left lane closures of the 6400-7400 blocks of Pulaski Highway from Monument Street to Moravia Park Drive 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
  • Southbound left lanes of I-83 from Northern Parkway to Guilford Avenue 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Right lane of Hilton Parkway from Edmondson Avenue to North Avenue 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Traffic Modifications for Crane Operations

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary traffic modifications in effect for crane operations.  

On Saturday, March 4th, 2023 the following closures will be implemented for crane operations:

  • Grundy Street closed from Lombard Street to Pratt Street 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Two lanes on the lower level of St. Paul Street from Saratoga Street to Centre Street 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Road Closures for the Baltimore Street Food Festival

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary road closures in effect for the Baltimore Street Food Festival.  

On Saturday, March 4th, 2023 beginning at 5:00 a.m. through Sunday, March 5th, 2023 ending at 12:00 a.m. the following roads will be closed for the Baltimore Street Food Festival:

  • Both Sides of Market Place from Lombard Street to Water Street. Access to the parking garage next to Port Discovery will be allowed. 
  • Water Street from Frederick Street to Market Place

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Road Closures for the Canton Irish Stroll

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary road closures in effect for the Canton Irish Stroll.  

On Saturday, March 4th, 2023 the following roads will be closed for the Canton Irish Stroll:

  • Both sides of O'Donnell Street from South Linwood Avenue to South Potomac Street 9:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Lane Closures for Right of Way Cleaning

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary lane closures in effect for right of way cleaning.  

On Sunday, March 5th, 2023 the following lanes will be closed for right of way cleaning:

  • Northbound and southbound right lanes of I-83 from Fayette Street to the City line 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
