Fans attending the game should be aware of a new game day traffic pattern which includes the closure of the northbound Russell Street Service Drive

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that high volumes of traffic are expected downtown on Thursday, August 15, 2019 for the Baltimore Ravens preseason football game against the Green Bay Packers.  The game will be held at M&T Bank Stadium beginning at 7:30 p.m. 

Fans attending the game should be aware of a new traffic pattern that will be implemented in the vicinity of M&T Bank Stadium during each home game.  The northbound Russell Street Service Drive, which runs alongside M&T Bank Stadium, will be closed to vehicular traffic between West and Hamburg Streets prior to and during each home game. 

Patrons who are driving to the stadium from the north destined for stadium lots A, B, and C should utilize:

• Southbound Greene/Russell Streets and left on Lee Street, OR
• Southbound Howard Street and right on Conway Street, OR
• Southbound Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, left at Pratt Street, right on Greene Street and left on Lee Street to access the stadium lots.

Patrons coming from the south destined for the stadium parking lots should utilize:

• Russell Street to right on Hamburg Street, OR
• Northbound I-395 to northbound Martin Luther King, Jr Boulevard to the Russell Street Ramp.

Football fans attending the game should be advised that all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations in the vicinity of the stadium will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety.  Patrons choosing to drive to the stadium should park at commercial lots and avoid area neighborhoods.  Vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed to 410 Fallsway.  Citizens with questions concerning the location of their vehicle should call (410) 396-4613 or 311.  Fans that do not have a parking permit for any of the stadium lots are strongly encouraged to use public transportation including the Metro SubwayLink, Light RailLink or the Charm City Circulator.  

At this time, MDOT MTA’s Light RailLink Service remains suspended between the North Avenue and Camden Yards stations.  A bus bridge is running between these stations to accommodate light rail passengers.  Signage has been placed at these stops, and Transit Ambassadors are available on location to assist passengers.  Light RailLink Service from the south to Camden Yards is running as scheduled. 

The Department of Transportation will deploy Transportation Enforcement Officers to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for heavy pedestrian/vehicular traffic and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
