Weekend Road Closures for February 21-23, 2020

Weekend Closure of Howard Street

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a portion of Howard Street will be closed this weekend for utility work.

Starting at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2020 Howard Street will be closed to through traffic between Lombard and Baltimore Streets with detours and parking restrictions in effect.  This portion of Howard Street will remain closed until 12:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020.  Local access to the parking garage will be maintained during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of the Jones Falls Expressway (JFX) for maintenance work. 

On Saturday, February 22, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between the county line and Falls Road from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  In addition, the Falls Road access ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway will also temporarily close for tree trimming work during this time.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

St. Paul Street Closure

This Saturday, a portion of St. Paul Street will be closed for a crane operation.  On Saturday, February 22, 2020, St. Paul Street will be closed through traffic between 33rd and 34th Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Charles Street Flagging Operation

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Charles Street for a crane operation.  On Saturday, February 22, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Charles Street between Cold Spring Lane and Blythewood Road from 5:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  A traffic flagging operation will be implemented along this portion of Charles Street during this time to direct motorists through the work zone.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

W. Baltimore Street Flagging Operation

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of W. Baltimore Street for a crane operation.  On Saturday, February 22, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along W. Baltimore Street between Payson and Pulaski Streets from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  A traffic flagging operation will be implemented along this portion of W. Baltimore Street during this time to direct motorists through the work zone.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Park Avenue Crane Operation

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Park Avenue for a crane operation.  On Saturday, February 22, 2020, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Park Avenue between Read and Chase Streets from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
