Falls Road Access Ramp to the Southbound Jones Falls Expressway to Reopen to Motorists

Water main repair work completed ahead of schedule and ramp will be open for the Thursday morning commute

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that the access ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway from southbound Falls Road will reopen to motorists on Thursday morning.

The Falls Road access ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway (near the Maryland SPCA) was recently closed for repair work to a broken 48-inch water main.  Department of Public Works (DPW) contractor crews working on the water main completed repairs ahead of schedule, and will work overnight to reopen the roadway.

The access ramp from southbound Falls Road to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway is expected to be reopen to traffic by 5:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021.

The City of Baltimore appreciates the public’s patience while this water main repair work was completed.
