A portion of W. Baltimore Street will also close today

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Lombard Street today for BGE utility work.

A double left lane closure will be implemented this morning along Lombard Street between Market Place and Gay Street.  These lane closures will remain in effect until approximately 4:00 p.m. this afternoon.  

In addition, a portion of W. Baltimore Street will also be closed today for BGE work.  A full closure of W. Baltimore Street will be implemented this morning between Poppleton and Schroeder Streets with detours in effect.  This portion of W. Baltimore Street will remain closed until approximately 3:00 p.m. this afternoon.

Motorists traveling in these areas should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid delays.
