Eastbound Druid Park Lake Drive to Reopen for Through Traffic Today

Westbound lanes expected to close tomorrow for the installation of new culverts as work on the Druid Lake Finished Water Tanks Project continues
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that eastbound Druid Park Lake Drive will be reopened to through traffic today, Wednesday, December 8, 2021 between Sisson Street and Madison Avenue. This portion of Druid Park Lake Drive will reopen by 12:00 noon today or earlier.
In addition, a portion of westbound Druid Park Lake Drive is expected to close tomorrow for the installation of new culverts, as work on the Druid Lake Finished Water Tanks Project is performed by contractors for the Baltimore City Department of Public Works.
Starting at approximately 9:00 a.m. on or about Thursday, December 9, 2021, westbound Druid Park Lake Drive will be closed to through traffic between Sisson Street and Madison Avenue with detours and parking restrictions in effect. This portion of westbound Druid Park Lake Drive is expected to remain closed until approximately 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 24, 2021.
Various signs have been placed in the area to alert motorists of the westbound Druid Park Lake Drive closure. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Suggested detour route:
Traffic from W. 29th Street and Sisson Street destined for westbound Druid Park Lake Drive will be detoured over the W. 29th Street Bridge to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway, then to the W. North Avenue exit, then north on McCulloh Street to Druid Park Lake Drive.
