Weekend Road Closures for Saturday, January 21st through Sunday, January 22nd, 2023

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary traffic modifications and road closures for the following events this weekend. 

Left Lane Closure of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard for Street Lighting Repairs

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary lane closure in effect for street lighting repairs.  

On Saturday, January 21st, 2023 the following lane will be closed for street lighting repairs:

• Southbound left lane of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Eutaw Street and Washington Boulevard 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Eastbound Closure of Franklin - Mulberry Expressway, US 40, for Right of Way Cleaning

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary road closure in effect for right of way cleaning.  

On Saturday, January 21st, 2023 the following road will be closed for right of way cleaning:

• Eastbound Franklin - Mulberry Expressway, US 40 6:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.

Traffic Modifications for Crane Operations

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary road closures and lane closure in effect for crane operations:  

On Saturday, January 21st, 2023 the following streets will be closed for crane operations:

• Lancaster Street from South Ann Street to South Wolfe Street 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 
• Right bus lane and travel lane on westbound North Avenue between Charles Street and Calvert Street 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Right Lane Closures on I-83 for Right of Way Cleaning

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the temporary lane closures in effect for right of way cleaning.  

On Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 the following lanes will be closed for right of way cleaning:

• Northbound and southbound right lanes of I-83 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
