Traffic Modifications for the African American Festival
Thursday Jun 30th, 2016
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications which will be in effect for the African American Festival. The event will be held this weekend, Saturday, July 02 and Sunday, July 03, 2016 at the Camden Yards Sport Complex between lots B & C, located between Oriole Park at Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium.
Because of the large number of people expected to attend, patrons are strongly encouraged to use public transportation, including mass transit, light rail and the Charm City Circulator. Patrons who wish to drive to the stadium should park at commercial lots or garages and avoid area neighborhoods. Motorists should be advised that all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations in the vicinity of the stadium will be strictly enforced, and those who park in violation will be ticketed and towed. Citizens with questions concerning the location of their vehicle should call 311.
In preparation for the event, the following road closures will be implemented on an as needed basis on Saturday, July 02 and Sunday, July 03, 2016 between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.:
- Hamburg Street between Russell and Leadenhall Streets
