Traffic Modifications for the Nun Run 5K

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications that will be in effect for the Little Sisters of the Poor Nun Run 5K and 1 Mile Run/Walk.  The event will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 and will kick off from the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen on N. Charles Street at 8:00 a.m.

Participants will leave the grounds of the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen and proceed right on N. Charles Street, right on Wyndhurst Avenue, right on Roland Avenue then right on Northern Parkway.  The course proceeds right back onto Charles Street to finish at the parking lot of the Cathedral.

In preparation for this event, one lane of travel will be coned off for participants along the race route wherever possible.  Commuters should be advised that temporary traffic stops will occur along the race route for the safety of participants.   Motorists traveling in the vicinity of the run should allow additional travel time in anticipation of this event and should be on the watch for pedestrians.
