Traffic Modifications for the Cherry Hill Arts & Music Festival/Parade
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications in effect for the Cherry Hill Arts & Music Festival/Parade which will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 starting at 12:00 p.m.
The parade kicks off at noon from the intersection of Cherry Hill and Cherryland Roads. Participants in the parade will head east on Cherry Hill Road, turn right on Seamon Avenue and right on Reedbird Avenue to disband at the festival site.
In preparation for the event, lane closures will be implemented along the parade route wherever possible. Citizens should be advised that temporary traffic stops may be implemented along the parade route for the safety of participants. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Broadway Temporary Closure
This Saturday, a portion of southbound Broadway will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, southbound Broadway will be closed to through traffic between Lancaster and Thames Streets from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 12:00 p.m. with detours in effect.
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Thames Street Lane Closures
On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Thames Street for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Thames Street at the intersection of Ann Street from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A flagging operation will be implemented during this time to direct motorists through the work area.

Calvert Street Temporary Closure
On Saturday, a portion of N. Calvert Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, N. Calvert Street will be closed to through traffic between Lexington and Saratoga Streets from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

20th Street Temporary Closure
On Saturday, a portion of W. 20th Street will be temporarily closed for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, W. 20th Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles Street and Maryland Avenue from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with detours in effect.

Ashland Avenue Weekend Closures
This weekend, a portion of Ashland Avenue will temporarily close for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, Ashland Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Broadway and Rutland Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with detours in effect. This portion of Ashland Avenue will be closed again on Sunday, August 20, 2017 during these times.

Eastern Avenue Lane Closures
On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Eastern Avenue for a crane lift operation. On Saturday, August 19, 2017, temporary lane closures will be implemented along Eastern Avenue at the intersection of S. East Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. A flagging operation will be in effect along Eastern Avenue during this time to direct motorists through the work area.
