High Traffic Volumes Expected Downtown this Afternoon for the Ravens Game at M&T Bank Stadium

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that high volumes of traffic are expected downtown this afternoon/evening for the Baltimore Ravens home game against the Houston Texans.  The game will be held this evening at M&T Bank Stadium beginning at 8:30 p.m.

Motorists should be advised that all posted parking restrictions and residential permit parking regulations in the vicinity of the stadium will be strictly enforced.  Patrons attending the game who do not have a parking permit for any of the stadium lots are strongly encouraged to use public transportation.  With a variety of transit options including the Metro Subway, Light Rail, Park and Ride express bus services and the Charm City Circulator, fans can easily utilize mass transit from numerous locations in and around Baltimore.

Patrons choosing to drive to the stadium should park at commercial lots and avoid area neighborhoods.  Parking Control Agents will enforce all posted parking restrictions in the vicinity of the stadium and vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed and towed to 410 Fallsway.  Citizens with questions concerning the location of their vehicle should call (410) 396-4613 or 311.

In preparation for the event, the Department of Transportation will deploy Traffic Enforcement Officers to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for heavy pedestrian/vehicular traffic and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
