Traffic Pattern Changes Will Soon be Implemented Along MD-295 for the Triple Bridges Replacement Project

Lane shifts and possible overnight lane closures will begin Sunday evening

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that a new traffic pattern will soon be implemented along MD-295 as part of the Triple Bridges Replacement Project.

Starting on Sunday, November 1, 2020, overnight work will occur along MD-295 between the Annapolis Road Bridge and the Waterview Avenue Bridge to shift traffic to the right in each direction through the construction zone.  Work will be performed from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. each evening through Friday, November 6, 2020, weather permitting.  In addition to the traffic shift, overnight lane closures along MD-295 may be implemented as needed during these times, and one lane of through traffic will remain open for motorists.

The overnight work and possible lane closures along MD-295 may cause delays, so citizens should allow additional travel time if commuting along this portion of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.  Motorists should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Information and construction updates regarding the Triple Bridges Replacement Project along MD-295 can be found at 295TripleBridges.com.
