Weekend Road Closures for November 19-21, 2021

Weekend Road Closures and Parking Restrictions in Fell’s Point

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented this weekend in Fell’s Point.

Starting on Friday, November 19, 2021 and continuing each evening through Sunday, November 21, 2021, all through traffic will be restricted in Fell’s Point from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. within the following geographical boundaries:

  • South of Aliceanna Street
  • North of Thames Street
  • East of S. Bond Street
  • West of S. Ann Street

Various parking restrictions will also be implemented in Fell’s Point throughout the weekend.  Visitors and residents should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas.  Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced for everyone’s safety.  Residents with ‘Area 16’ Residential Parking Permits will be allowed to access areas closed to through traffic.

Motorists should be aware that additional road closures and parking restrictions may be implemented in the vicinity of Fell’s Point throughout the weekend if needed. 

 

Northern Parkway and Charles Street Ramp Closures

This Saturday, temporary ramp and lane closures will be implemented Northern Parkway and Charles Street for street lighting work.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along eastbound and westbound Northern Parkway in the vicinity of the Jones Falls Expressway from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

In addition, the following ramps will also intermittently close on Saturday during this time with detours in effect:

  • The access ramps from both eastbound and westbound Northern Parkway to northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway
  • The access ramp from Charles Street to northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along MD-295

This weekend, temporary lane and ramp closures will be implemented along MD-295 for cleaning activities.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along northbound and southbound MD-295 between Bush Street and the county line from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Then on Sunday, November 21, 2021, temporary left lane closures will be implemented along this stretch of MD-295 from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along Light Street

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Light Street for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along Light Street between Lee and Hughes Streets from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along N. Charles Street

This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of N. Charles Street for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, temporary lane closures will be implemented along N. Charles Street between Franklin and Hamilton Streets from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon with parking restrictions in effect, weather permitting.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Portion of Liberty Street to Close for Crane Lift

This Saturday, a portion of Liberty Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.

On Saturday, November 20, 2021, Liberty Street will be closed to through traffic between Fayette and Lexington Streets from approximately 3:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight, with detours and parking restrictions in effect. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar

This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.

On Sunday, November 21, 2021 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect:

  • Hillen Street from Fallsway to Holliday Street
  • Holliday Street from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
  • Holliday Street at Pleasant Street off ramp left lane closure

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
