Jones Falls Expressway Ramp Closures in Vicinity of 28^th Street / Druid Park Lake Drive on Saturday, November 18^th

This Saturday, several ramps to and from the Jones Falls Expressway in the vicinity of 28^th Street / Druid Park Lake Drive will be closed for paving work. 

On Saturday, November 18, 2023 the following ramp closures will be implemented from approximately 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. with detours in effect:

• 28th Street / Druid Park Lake Drive exit ramp from the southbound Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 South (full ramp closure and right lane closure at Exit 7).
• Druid Park Lake Drive access ramp to the northbound Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 North
• 29th Street access ramp to the northbound Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 North and Druid Park Lake Drive.
• Falls Road access ramp to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 South

The access ramp from 29^th Street to the southbound Jones Falls Expressway/I-83 South will remain open on Saturday while paving work is being completed. 

Variable message signs have been deployed to notify motorists of the closures.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Traffic Modifications for Crane Operations & Special Events

On Saturday, temporary lane and road closures will be in effect for crane operations and special events. 

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the following lane and road closures will be implemented:

• Lombard Street lane closures between Howard Street and Greene Street (reduced to one lane of travel) 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (crane operation)
• W. Fayette Street closed between N. Charles Street and N. Hanover Street 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (special event)
• N. Hanover Street closed between W. Baltimore Street and W. Fayette Street 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (special event)
• W. Jeffrey Street closed between S. Hanover Street and the first alley west of S. Hanover Street 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (community health fair)

Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar

This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which will be held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.

On Sunday, November 19, 2023 the following street and lane closures will be implemented from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours in effect:

• Holliday Street closed from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
• Pleasant Street closed at Holliday Street
• Hillen Street center lane closure at Fallsway
