The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the traffic modifications in effect for the Caribbean Festival and Parade.  

The Caribbean Carnival Parade will be held on Saturday, July 09, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m.  The parade begins in the 1100 block of E. 33^rd Street and will proceed east on 33^rd Street, right on The Alameda, and across Harford Road to enter Clifton Park via St. Lo Drive. 

In preparation for the parade, the following streets will be closed on Saturday, July 09, 2016 with parking restrictions in effect:

• Eastbound E. 33^rd Street between Ellerslie and Ednor Avenues from 10:30 a.m. until clear.  One lane of traffic will remain open during parade formation.
• Eastbound E. 33^rd Street between Ellerslie Avenue and The Alameda from 12:45 p.m. until clear
• Southbound The Alameda between E. 33^rd Street and Harford Road from 12:45 p.m. until clear

In addition to the parade, the Caribbean Festival will be held in Clifton Park on Saturday, July 09 and Sunday, July 10, 2016.  In preparation for the festival, St. Lo Drive will be closed to through traffic between Indian Lane and Sinclair Lane on Saturday, July 09 and Sunday, July 10 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. each day with detours in effect.

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
