Weekend Road Closures for March 16, 2018

Traffic Modifications for St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations Along O’Donnell Square in Canton

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists of the road closures and parking restrictions in effect for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Canton’s O’Donnell Square. 

Starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 and continuing until 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2018 O’Donnell Street will be closed to through traffic in both directions from Linwood Avenue to Potomac Street with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

In addition, the 1000 – 1100 blocks of S. Curley Street will be closed from O’Donnell Square to the alleys north and south of the street with parking restrictions in effect during this time.

Citizens should pay close attention to posted parking restrictions during this event.  Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians and are encouraged to use alternate routes.

 

Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway

On Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the Jones Falls Expressway for street lighting and roadway maintenance work.  On Saturday, March 16, 2018, single left lane closures will be implemented along both northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway between Fayette Street and the county line  from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 

Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
