Traffic Modifications for Baltimore Orioles Home Games
The Baltimore City Department of Transportation would like to advise motorists that temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented for the Baltimore Orioles home game against the Texas Rangers, which will be held at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
In preparation for the game Friday afternoon, the following streets will be closed on Friday, September 24, 2021 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m.:
- Eutaw Street from Pratt to Camden Streets
- Camden Street from Howard to Russell Streets
- Lee Street from Ramp D to Russell Street
- Hamburg Street from Russell to Leadenhall Streets
- Washington Boulevard from Paca to Greene Streets
- Left lane closure along northbound Russell Street from Lee to Pratt Streets
In addition, the following parking restrictions will be implemented on Friday, September 24, 2021 beginning at 4:00 p.m.:
- East side of Greene Street from Lombard Street to Washington Boulevard
- East side of Eutaw Street from Pratt to Lombard Streets
- North side of Conway Street from Charles to Sharp Streets
The road closures and parking restrictions listed above will also be implemented for the Orioles home games on Saturday, September 25, 2021 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday, September 26, 2021 starting at approximately 10:00 a.m.
Transportation Enforcement Officers will be stationed at key intersections to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks.
Weekend Road Closures and Parking Restrictions in Fells Point
This weekend, temporary road closures and parking restrictions will be implemented in Fells Point.
Starting on Friday, September 24, 2021 and continuing each evening through Sunday, September 26, 2021, all through traffic will be restricted in Fells Point from approximately 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. within the following geographical boundaries:
- South of Aliceanna Street
- North of Thames Street
- East of S. Bond Street
- West of S. Ann Street
In addition, various parking restrictions will be implemented in Fells Point throughout the weekend. Fells Point visitors and residents should pay close attention to all posted parking restrictions and avoid parking in restricted areas.
Residential Permit Parking will be strictly enforced throughout the weekend in Fells Point (RPP Area 16) and vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed. Fells Point Residential Permit Parking in Area 16 will be enforced along the following roadways:
• Aliceanna Street • Broadway
• Fleet Street • Shakespeare Street
• Ann Street • Thames Street
• Lancaster Street • Dallas Street
• Bethel Street • Wolfe Street
• Register Street • Durham Street
• Bond Street • Fell Street
To ensure that residents have access to parking near their homes, residents will be allowed to access areas closed to through traffic with their ‘Area 16’ Residential Parking permits.
Motorists should be aware that additional road closures and parking restrictions may be implemented in the vicinity of Fells Point throughout the weekend if needed. Motorists traveling in this area should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Portion of Linwood Avenue Closed for the Patterson Park Family Festival
This Thursday and Friday, a portion of Linwood Avenue will temporarily close for the Patterson Park Family Festival.
Beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021, Linwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Eastern Avenue and E. Pratt Street with detours and parking restrictions in effect. This portion of Linwood Avenue will remain closed until approximately 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021.

Portions of Charles Street to Close This Saturday
Charm City Circulator’s Purple Route will be detoured during this time
This Saturday, portions of Charles Street will be closed for the Charles Street Promenade.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021 portions of Charles Street will be closed to through traffic between Saratoga Street and Mt. Royal Avenue from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect. During the closure, a number of cross streets along this stretch of Charles Street will remain open for vehicular traffic, including Saratoga, Mulberry, Franklin, Centre, Monument Street/Mount Vernon Place, Madison, Biddle, Chase, and Mount Royal Avenue. The access ramp to I-83/Jones Falls Expressway will also remain open with access from Mount Royal Avenue to Charles Street.
In preparation for closure, parking restrictions will be implemented along this stretch of Charles Street starting as early as 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021. Motorists planning to park in this vicinity should pay close attention to posted parking restrictions and are strongly encouraged to utilize area garages and surface lots. Vehicles parked in violation will be ticketed.
During the closure of Charles Street, a portion of the Charm City Circulator’s (CCC) Purple Route will be detoured and temporary stop closures along Charles Street will be implemented throughout the day. The Purple Route will be detoured onto Calvert Street after Stop 302 (The Gallery) and will proceed north on Calvert and west on North Avenue back to Charles Street to resume the normal route.
The CCC buses will stop at designated MDOT MTA bus stops along this temporary route on Saturday to pick up and discharge passengers as needed. Riders will be able to board the Charm City Circulator at all other designated stops during this time.
Lane Closures Along the Jones Falls Expressway
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021, temporary right lane closures will be implemented along the southbound Jones Falls Expressway between the county/city line and Guilford Avenue from approximately 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Road Closures for The Big Dill Pickle Fest
This Saturday, temporary road closures will be implemented in the vicinity of Power Plant Live! for the Big Dill Pickle Festival.
In preparation for the event, the following roadways will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2021 through 1:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021 with parking restrictions in effect:
- Water Street between S. Frederick Street and Market Place
- Market Place between Lombard and Water Streets (one lane of traffic will remain open for patrons to enter the Harbor Park Garage).

Lane Closure Along St. Lo Drive in Clifton Park
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along St. Lo Drive in Clifton Park for the Recreating Our Destiny: Celebrating Recovery Through Art & Music event.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021, temporary curb lane closures will be implemented along St. Lo Drive between Harford Road and Sinclair Lane from approximately 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Portion of E. 34th Street to Close for Crane Lift
This Saturday, a portion of E. 34th Street will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021, E. 34th Street will be closed to through traffic between Charles and St. Paul Streets from approximately 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Portion of Eastern Avenue to Close for Crane Lift
This Saturday, a portion of Eastern Avenue will temporarily close for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021, Eastern Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Broadway and Ann Street from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours and parking restrictions in effect.

Traffic Flagging Operation Along Portion of Ellwood Avenue
This Saturday, temporary lane closures will be implemented along a portion of Ellwood Avenue for a crane lift operation.
On Saturday, September 25, 2021 a traffic flagging operation will be implemented along Ellwood Avenue between Monument and Madison Streets from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic flagging crews will direct motorists through the work zone during this time.

Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.
On Sunday, September 26, 2021 the following streets will be closed to through traffic from approximately 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with detours in effect:
- Hillen Street from Fallsway to Holliday Street
- Holliday Street from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
- Holliday Street at Pleasant Street off ramp left lane closure
