Weekend Road Closures for Friday, July 28th through Sunday, July 30th, 2023

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation (BCDOT) would like to advise motorists of the temporary traffic modifications and road closures for the following activities this weekend. Traffic Modifications for Baltimore Orioles Home Games This Weekend
This weekend, temporary traffic modifications will be in effect for Baltimore Orioles home games being held at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
In preparation for Friday's game, the following streets will be closed on Friday, July 28, 2023 starting at approximately 4:00 p.m.:
- Eutaw Street from Pratt to Camden Streets
- Camden Street from Howard to Russell Streets
- Hamburg Street from Russell to Leadenhall Streets
In addition, the following parking restrictions will be implemented on Friday, July 28, 2023 beginning at 4:00 p.m.:
- East side of Eutaw Street from Pratt to Lombard Streets
- North side of Conway Street from Charles to Sharp Streets
- East side of Greene Street, from Lombard Street to Washington Boulevard
- North side of Pratt Street, from Greene Street to Paca Street
The road closures and parking restrictions listed above will also be implemented on Saturday, July 29th and Sunday, July 30th starting at approximately 4:00 a.m.
Transportation Enforcement Officers will be stationed at key intersections to assist with the movement of traffic in the downtown area. Motorists traveling in the vicinity of the stadium should be on the watch for pedestrians, especially when approaching designated crosswalks.
Traffic Modifications for Crane Operations and Right of Way Cleaning Activities
The following road and lane closures will be implemented on Saturday, July 29, 2023 (times are approximate):
- Liberty Street will be closed between Fayette Street and Baltimore Street 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (crane operation)
- Davis Street will be closed between Pleasant Street and Saratoga Street 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (crane operation)
- Northbound Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 right lane closures from Fayette to the city/county line 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (right of way cleaning)
The following lane closures will be implemented on Sunday, July 30, 2023 (times are approximate):
- Northbound and southbound Jones Falls Expressway / I-83 left lane closures from Fayette Street to the city/county line 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (right of way cleaning)
Motorists traveling in these vicinities should be on the watch for changing traffic patterns and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for the Building Bridges Bike Ride
This Saturday, temporary traffic modifications will be implemented for the Building Bridges Bike Ride.
The bike ride will begin along Woodlawn Drive in Baltimore County and travel eastbound towards Leakin Park in Baltimore City utilizing Franklintown Road at Forrest Park Avenue to Franklintown Road at Winans Way, turning around and heading back to the Gwynn Oak area via Woodlawn Drive.
In preparation for the event, the following road closure will be implemented on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.:
- Franklinton Road between Forrest Park Road and Norris Road
Motorists traveling in this vicinity should be on the watch for cyclists and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Ravens Football Practice
This Saturday, temporary road closures may be implemented for the Baltimore Ravens football practice which will be held at M&T Bank Stadium.
On Saturday, July 29th, 2023, starting at approximately 2:00 p.m., the following street may be temporarily closed to through traffic if needed:
- Hamburg Street between Leadenhall Street and Paca Street
Fans attending the practice should expect delays along the Russell Street Service Road (which runs alongside M&T Stadium) at Hamburg Street and in the vicinity of the stadium. Motorists traveling in this area should be on the watch for possible traffic pattern changes and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for the Procession for the Feast of Saint Alphonsus
This Sunday, temporary traffic modifications will be implemented for the Procession for the Feast of Saint Alphonsus.
The procession kicks off from the intersection of West Saratoga Street and Park Avenue at 1:00 p.m. Participants will turn right onto Park Avenue, then right onto Mulberry Street, right on Cathedral Street, right onto West Saratoga Street to end in front of the Church at the intersection of West Saratoga Street and Park Avenue.
Temporary traffic stops will be implemented along the procession route for the safety of participants from approximately 12:50 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Motorists traveling in this vicinity should expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic Modifications for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar
This Sunday, traffic modifications will be in effect for the Baltimore Farmers' Market & Bazaar, which is held under the Jones Falls Expressway along Saratoga Street between Holliday and Gay Streets.
On Sunday, July 30, 2023 the following road and lane closures will be implemented from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with detours in effect:
- Holliday Street closed from Pleasant Street to Saratoga Street
- Pleasant Street closed at Holliday Street
- Hillen Street center lane closure at Fallsway
